When the Character removes a Cube from a connected Cube structure by a Green, Yellow, Red or Black Matter Gun, the remaining Cubes may get destroyed or remained, depending on how the Cube structure gets divided into parts.

Case 1: The removal of Cube does not divide the Cube structure.[]

For instance, when the Character removes the Cube

  • at the end of a long Cube chain,
  • from a closed loop made of Cubes, or
  • from a lump of connected Cubes,

the remaining Cubes will not get destroyed because they stayed glued together.

Case 2: The removal of Cube divides the Cube structure into two parts.[]

For instance, when the Character

  • removes the Cube at the places between a long Cube chain, or
  • slices a plane of Cubes,

in such cases, the Cube structure breaks into two part. Both parts disappear if containing the same number of Cubes. Otherwise, only the part containing fewer Cubes will disappear.

Case 3: The removal of Cube divides the Cube structure into several parts.[]

The part will stay remained only if it contains more Cubes than the sum of the Cubes in the remaining parts.

For instance, when the Character removes the intersecting Cube in Lighting the Fuse, the upper part, bottom part, left part and the right part of the cube chains become separate. Let the number of Cubes in these four Cube chains be P1, P2, P3 and P4. If P1 > P2 + P3 + P4, then P1 will stay remained. Otherwise, it will disappear. The same rules can be applied to P2, P3 and P4.
